𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 | 𝗠𝗗𝗖 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀

Metro Dumaguete College Senior High School (MDC-SHS) wrapped up its participation in the Dumaguete City Meet 2025 with commendable results across all sports categories. Competing in 𝘼𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙨 (𝙈𝙚𝙣), 3𝙭3 𝘽𝙖𝙨𝙠𝙚𝙩𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙡, 𝘽𝙖𝙙𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙣 𝘿𝙤𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙒𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙨 𝘾𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙨, MDC-SHS athletes showcased determination, discipline, and true sportsmanship throughout the two-day event.


In the 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆, 𝘑𝘰𝘩𝘯 𝘋𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘥 𝘒𝘺𝘭𝘦 𝘋𝘦 𝘊𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰, under the guidance of 𝘊𝘰𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘔𝘴. 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘤 𝘋. 𝘙𝘶𝘱𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘰, 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝘆𝗼 (𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗻) 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻 (𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁) 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, an impressive achievement that highlights his skill and dedication to the sport.


The 𝟯𝘅𝟯 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺, composed of 𝘔𝘦𝘳 𝘓𝘰𝘶𝘪𝘴𝘦 𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘴, 𝘑𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘪𝘭 𝘑𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘐𝘮𝘣𝘰, 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘭𝘦𝘺 𝘝𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘣𝘦𝘳, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘗𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘒𝘺𝘭𝘭𝘦 𝘗𝘦𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘣𝘶𝘦𝘯𝘢, led by 𝘊𝘰𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘔𝘳. 𝘑𝘶𝘯𝘦 𝘈𝘯𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘺 𝘈. 𝘉𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘰𝘤𝘦𝘴, delivered strong performances throughout the competition. The team reached the semifinals but fell short against Camanjac National High School. They proceeded to the battle for 3rd place, where they faced Piapi High School and ultimately𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹. Despite the losses, the team showed admirable teamwork, resilience, and determination.

In 𝗕𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗼𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀, representatives 𝘒𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘑𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘉𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘰 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘙𝘶𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘭 𝘘𝘶𝘪𝘳𝘵 𝘜𝘮𝘣𝘢𝘤, 𝘤𝘰𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘔𝘴. 𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘢 𝘟𝘦𝘭 𝘊. 𝘗𝘪ñ𝘦𝘳𝘰, played with heart and effort but were eliminated in a single-elimination match against COSCA.


Meanwhile, in the 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆, MDC-SHS player 𝘈𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯𝘢 𝘓𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘯, 𝘤𝘰𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘔𝘴. 𝘒𝘪𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘭𝘺 𝘙. 𝘎𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘢, concluded the tournament 𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟭𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘇, showcasing her strategic strength and competitive spirit across multiple rounds.

MDC Senior High School extends heartfelt congratulations to all MDC-SHS athletes and coaches for their hard work and commitment.
